In this class your instructor will demonstrate how to use and thread a serger, as well as how to adjust the tension when needed. You will not complete a project in this class, but you will have the opportunity to use a serger to sew scraps on a variety of fabrics.

Sergers are also called overlock machines, or overlockers. Your instructor will show you how sergers are used to not only finish seams, but also to construct whole garments. Not everyone needs a serger, but this class will help you decide if you want one!
