About the Class
Do you know how to sew but are not quite confident enough to try a new pattern on your own? This class is for you! You bring your pattern, fabric, and notions and we'll help you as you tackle your project. This is not a pattern drafting class, but we can help you adjust your pattern for fit. You should have the basic skills taught in Sewing 101-104.
You MUST know how to operate a sewing machine and know the basics of reading a commercial pattern to take these classes. If you are not sure you have the skills for these classes, call or email and we'll discuss it. Please allow us to guide you in choosing a project that is appropriate for your skill level.
You may use our sewing machines and sergers, cutting tables, and irons and ironing boards. You may also bring your own machines and irons.
Our machines are Janome 2212's. These are basic mechanical sewing machines. If you use our machines you may use our zipper, top stitch and button hole feet, and bobbins.
You must bring all of your your own supplies including; fabric, thread, pattern, shearrs, pins.
