Ready to start sewing? This two-part class is the first step in our Learn to Sew Series and is designed to help you build the skills and confidence to sew on your own!

In the first class, you’ll learn the basics of machine sewing, including how to thread a machine, operate it, sew with control, and more. Then, you’ll put your new skills to work by making a cute trinket tray!

In the second class, you’ll practice threading the machine again and create a fun drawstring bag. We believe repetition and practice are the keys to mastering a new skill, so this two-part class gives you time to reinforce what you’ve learned and grow your confidence.

Whether your goal is to hem your pants, make bags, sew curtains, or create your own clothing, this class is a great place to start. We recommend it for anyone new to sewing!

Eager to jump right into clothing? Skip this class and join our Learn to Sew Clothing class! In this 9-hour series, you’ll learn to use the sewing machine, then dive straight into making your own clothing.
