Guided Sewing

About the Course

Guided Sewing

In this class YOU choose your project and we help you sew it!

Do you know how to sew but aren’t quite confident enough to try a new pattern on your own? If this sounds familiar, our Guided Sewing Class is for you!

For this course, YOU bring your pattern, fabric, and notions and we'll help you as you tackle your project!

**This is not a pattern drafting class, but we can help you adjust your pattern for fit.

PLEASE read all of this. You MUST know how to operate a sewing machine to take this class. You must have the basic skills that are taught in Learn to Sew 101 before signing up for Guided Sewing.

I recommend you take either:

  • Learn to Sew 102 (Pillow) and 103 (Tote Bag) OR,

  • Beginner Clothing Parts 1 and 2 before signing up for Guided Sewing. Guided Sewing is not technically a class. It is a time for you to sew on your own with an instructor available to help when you need it.

If you’re not sure whether you have the necessary skills, please ask.

To ensure your success, allow us to guide you through choosing a project that is appropriate for your skill level.

If you are unsure, email us at: or call 404-914-0618.
