About the Course
Guided Sewing
Important : This class is for students who know the basics of sewing machine operation and have some sewing experience.
How does it work? You bring your pattern, fabric, and notions and we'll help you as you tackle your project! You will be expected to read your pattern instructions, but we'll be there to help when you need it.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
PLEASE read all of this. You MUST know how to operate a sewing machine to take this class. You MUST have the basic skills that are taught in Learn to Sew 101 before signing up for Guided Sewing.
Before registering for Guided Sewing we also recommend you take either:
Learn to Sew 102 Zipper Workshop, Learn to Sew 103 Tote Bag OR, Beginner Clothing for Adults
**Guided Sewing is not technically a class. It is a time for you to sew on your own with an instructor available to help when you need it.
**This is not a pattern drafting class, but we can help you adjust your pattern for fit. Bring a sewing pattern and all other supplies for your project.
**If you’re not sure you have the necessary skills, please ask before registering.
