About the Course

Special Guest Professor Kenneth D King: Moulage and Sleeve Drafting Workshop

This workshop is a good fit for people who want to learn more about making custom, well fitted clothing.

In this class, Professor Kenneth D. King will show students how to properly measure themselves and how to use those measurements to draft moulage patterns. (A moulage is a body-double pattern which can be used to create expertly fitted garments.)

In this 2-day Moulage and Sleeve Drafting Workshop, you will make a moulage pattern, a bodice sloper for a shirt/top, and a sloper for a jacket. In addition, you will obtain the information needed to make a coat sloper, and the sleeve sloper will also be drafted! (Slopers can be used to check the sizing in commercial patterns, indicating where to alter to make them fit.)

Just imagine how your sewing will improve after you join us for this amazing class!
